What WebIngest collects
WebIngest collects account information provided through the web app, including account email addresses, verified domains, destination API configuration, client access configuration, and billing details. Domain accounts may add client email addresses so access tokens can be issued and transfer permissions can be audited.
Browser extension data
The browser extension uses token-based access. It does not ask extension users for an account password. The extension stores an access token locally in the browser and may receive the email address associated with that token from the WebIngest API. When a user starts a capture, export, or transfer, the extension can read visible page content, selected records, page URLs, capture activity metadata, screenshots, and downloadable attachments from pages where it is used.
How data is used
Captured data is sent to the WebIngest API to prepare exports, generate transfer scripts, validate destination mappings, send records to the destination selected by the user or domain account, support account features, and troubleshoot transfer failures. WebIngest does not sell captured content or account data, does not use it for advertising, and does not use it to determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility.
Storage and retention
WebIngest stores account records, domain verification state, access token records, API configuration, transfer history, generated scripts, captured page dumps, and uploaded attachments as needed to provide the service. Retention periods may vary by account configuration, operational needs, and legal requirements.
Sharing
WebIngest shares captured data with the destination endpoint selected by the user or configured domain account. WebIngest also uses infrastructure, database, payment, and email delivery providers to operate the service. These providers process data only as needed to run WebIngest, process billing, deliver account messages, and maintain the platform.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
WebIngest's use and transfer of information received from Chrome extension APIs and, where applicable, Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. WebIngest uses extension data only to provide or improve its capture, export, and transfer features.
Your choices
You can stop using the extension at any time, remove it from your browser, revoke API keys, and request deletion of account data that is not needed for billing, security, compliance, or fraud-prevention purposes.
